If you use the front brake too lightly, the pucks will glaze and squeal. Oil contamination on the disk will cause squeal, too, so spray the disk and pucks with brake cleaner solvent. You can also scrub the disk with soaps like Simple Green. If cleaning doesn't help, paint the back of the pucks with an anti-squeal vinyl coating available from auto parts stores.
